Intermittent losses of internet connections

We recently switched to SDSL, 384K and are currently running 14 workstations sharing this bandwith; it worked great for about 2 weeks, but now we are experiencing periodic, intermittent outages on some of the machines (some now, some a few minutes later)--no mail, no internet; then it changes and others experience the loss; our ISP has run diagnostics on both the lines and the router and have found no problems; any ideas as to what it could be??

Some guesses: If you're running a domain, perhaps its the domain controller updating periodically. Or, if you've got a workgroup with static IPs, perhaps it's the network getting bogged down.
