Interference with wireless xbox controllers

I got two of the Pelican Eclipse II wireless controllers for my xbox recently. The problem I'm having is that it will intermittently act like I pressed a button even when I didn't. I'll be in the middle of a tennis game and my guy will just randomly take a swing before I even press any button. I didn't have this problem with the wired controller, so I figured it must be something to do with the wireless connection. I do have a wireless router for my PC sitting about 10 ft from the xbox, but everything I've read about these controllers says interference shouldn't be a problem. They are supposed to have auto frequency hopping to stay on clear channels.

Anyone else have issues with wireless controllers?

I guess the next thing is to unplug my router and see if the controllers still have any problems.
