Interfacing with Google Maps

Does anyone have any information or resources on interfacing with Google Maps?

I'd like to create something on my own website that had Google Maps on it with my own locations and stuff... So basically I need to know how to incorporate Google Maps into a website on my server, pass it GPS coordinates, etc and go from there... if anyone has figured this out, let me know!! 🙂

So where should this post be exactly?

In my books... this is considered off topic...

Yeah, a lot of people have done it... but I'm just looking for information on how...

The housing site, Chicagocrime.com, the taxi service from Google that actually shows you were the cars are... It's very possible... 🙂 I just dont have a clue where to start... 🙁

Start here.

If I remember correctly, Google has NOT officially released API's for their maps yet, so I think people are just passing data/parsing.

I'm really not sure, but start at that link at the top.

Godspeed.
