Interfacing gaming console with desktop PC

I have an ATI TV Wonder card. I have a Gamecube. I want to be able to play my GCN on my desktop computer seamlessly. I have no TV.

The problem is not how to hook everything up - I'm handy dandy with that. The problem is the rate at which the signal from the GCN is received and displayed on my computer monitor. To put it plain and simple, there's a tiny delay.

The delay isn't long, less than half a second, but noticeable enough to be an annoyance.

Is there a way to fix this? Or is this inherant of the TV card?
