The depth of the river is about 50 cm, while the width is from a dozen to a few centimeters...

That's pretty interesting. I'd say 95% of rivers are wider than they are deep.

It was found in 2000 because one of the not-so-smart Chinese triads was not able to successfuly get rid of a body when they dumped it in the river and tried to get away.
