Most Americans hate Bush because he got 1000 soldiers killed in a war he justified with lies.

I have yet to see one peice of evidence that shows that George Bush lied.

Well I can kind of relate to the OP and the Pubs here; just as I was fascinated by the Rolling Stones article "Bush Like Me" you guys are ewually fascinated by this piece. As enlightening as we may have found these articles, it is evident that none of us has a clue as to where we're all coming from comparatively.

This article is speculative conjecture, an attempt to explain what may be unexlainable to "you people" just as an attempt to marginalize and define more clearly Evangelicals is unnatainable. That is, at least as afar as enabling people like me to relate and understand more clearly.

Nor has anyone else, but it's sure fun to say, isn't it?

OTOH, if you never really say anything, I guess it's kind of hard to lie:

I voted for the troops before I voted after the before when I voted against them.

Yeah, I don't hate it, but I much prefer a small landing strip to it 😛

How could it possibly be more obvious?

Most of America does not dislike Bush.

No kidding, he's a nice man. He's not a good president but neither was Jimmy Carter and he also was a nice guy.

If that's the reason, why is Bush sticking his religion in everyone's face? If he was a uniter, he wouldn't divid people on social issues.

The red states whould think twice starting a culture war because the side that wins will be the side that actually has some culture.

This is just another example of how the right hates America just like Al Quaeda and the Taliban. All three hate American culture.

I wouldn't say I dislike Bush, he seems like a nice guy to me. I just happen to disagree with almost every single one of his views...but I don't hate or dislike him.

Nice that is an intelligent way to look at it.
