Poor Dwight, he was close but he didn't envision or take in account the Republican party embracing the Religious Funda-Mentalist's into their fold.

Take it to P&N. Anyways look at the ratio of people paying into social security and recipients in 1952. I like Eisenhower, but in this case he was not a financial visionary.

On target. Social Security today is no where close to what it was in the 50s in terms of how much is paid in and how many people are paying per benefit recipient.
