I put together the system in my sig a couple of weeks ago, and basically was pretty happy with it till I noticed that my processor load was 16 - 20% with nothing else going on ..
Task manager did not show any process using more than 1% at any given time ..
I used the Microsoft ' ProcessExplorer ' and it shows the 16-20% being used by " hardware interrupts " , with no other specific information ..
When I run Folding@Home , and CPU usage goes up to 100%, the ' hardware interrupts ' are still using 16-20% of my CPU ...
This problem persists with no add-on cards and all I/O except SATA controller disabled in the BIOS ..
Anyone have any ideas of something I should check for ?
