"Do you, Prodigy?"

Yes :)

and yes you have some points.....

you know, when I think about it......from all this mess in Florida.....it all boils down to being so random. What about other states? I bet there has been ballots that haven't been counted elsewhere, mistakes that have been made......this race is so close that it just ends up being a random person who becomes president, not the one the majority of the people wanted. And the main reason is that most of you Americans are too damn lazy to get off your butts and vote......I find that so low, ya know.

I always hated the high tech sector and wall street.

Bush will win one way or the other. Let's all relax.

This is really funny. "IF" is such such a small word. IF we don't count our two most populous states, Bush won. Such idle speculation.

<< contrary to the statements of whiny spinmeisters like James Baker >>

James Baker a spinmeister? Puhleaze! It's really Warren Christopher that can't do a good job of lying through all those wrinkles on his face.

I thought that "Population of counties won by Bush: 143 million
Population of counties won by Gore: 127 million" meant something else, sorry.

<< Zippy,

Here's a hint: The map was produced three weeks ago.

Actually, it was FL and OR.;)

PS For those that don't know, the pop of counties numbers are assuming a canidate won every vote in every county they won

apoppin,

I was merely pointing out why the "bore won the popular vote" argument is complete hogwash. And I didn't even mention the fact the popular vote isn't how we determine presidents.

And if that's idle speculation, so is all recounting going on in Florida (since we simply can't be guaranteed an accurate tally of votes in Florida *period*). :(

Russ, you admit that Gore won the popular vote, correct? So how could those numbers be correct?
>>

Read more carefully. Population of counties won, not Amount of people who voted for. Stop trying to dodge the facts :p
