interesting new boot pattern

i just installed SP2. it seems like my comp is booting really slow. before SP2 it would show the black windows logo with the little progress bar, and the progress bar would go across 8 times. then the welcome window would flash very briefly and it would show windows. now with SP2 it shows the progress bar 4 times but then the screen goes blank for about 15 seconds. then it shows the welcome screen for bout 15 more seconds then windows loads. just wondering if this is normal or if there is somethign i can do or disable. ive already disabled the security center and the firewall through "services". i want my computer to boot at light speed again!!
 
I've noticed slightly slower boot speeds with SP2, but only by 1 or 2 seconds. As I very rarely reboot then it's not bothered me enough to look into, but I think SP2 will increase boot time slightly on any system.
