Got this weird problem. I cant get my HP Officejet R60 printer shared on my network properly. It seems to be setup ok, then when printing prints half pages, only sometimes. Printer is connected to computer #1, and works fine, computer 2 prints to this printer, and gets 1/2 pages. Printed some pages OK, even color pages fine. The print test page is perfect. Greeting card maker in color prints perfectly. Printing email, prints half pages, MS excel printed perfectly. Printing Turbotax prints half pages. Very inconsistant.
This is a Win98SE network, the printer is shared, both HD's are shared, file and printing sharing enabled, ECP ports enabled.
The printer was set up via install from the network neigborhood. Also, tried installing from disk, then changing drive. Also tried using printer setup Under printers. Also tried Capturing printer port.
Any other suggestions?
BTW, It did work previously on my two old computers, which I replaced the boxes, but the network, printer, cabling, OS, Programs are all the same. Just newer computers.
Does it matter the printing format (raw or emf) ?
tried both, no difference, and tried printing directly to printer, no difference.
pulling my hair out.
