Anyone notice that the Matrix Thread is almost twice the size of the unmeployment thread. From a weeks worth of matrix compared to months of the other, even though the IT sector was hit extremely hard these past couple of years?

not everyone here is in the Professional workforce, alot of people here are students, or still in college, who have yet seen professional employment, while they would still go and see the Matrix

Same here.

I miss beer during the day, back in my unemployed days...

I miss working as a gasoline station clerk, making inane comments all day.

Oh, I still make inane comments, but since I'm back in software - there seems to be a buttload more acronyms mixed in with the mindless chatter.

Randle: "Anybody can just waltz in here and do our jobs. You're so obsessed with making it seem so much more epic and important than it really is. You work at a convenience store, Dante! And badly, I might add! I work at a sh!tty video store, badly as well. That guy Jay's got it right, man. He's got no delusions about what he does. Us, we like to think that we're so much more advanced than the people that come in here everyday to buy paper, or, god forbid, cigarettes. Well, if we're so fvcking advanced, what are we doing working here?"
