Hahaha - I'd like to see a showdown between Palomino Athlon/ Tualatin Pentium !!!/ Pentium 4

I just wonder how the Tualatin will fare - 512 KB L2 and DDR support won't be anything to fool with!

Didnt they skip the 512 kb of cache for Tualatin?
Its gonna be their low end chip so it seems sorta like overkill.

I would say Intel will try to downplay Tualatin P3 as they do to their current Celeron II. If compared to 1.5GHz+ P3 with 512KB L2, 200MHz FSB and DDR SDRAM, Pentium 4's performance outside Streamin' Sandra would look embarrassing 🙂
