If we could shrink the Earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all existing human ratios remaining the same, it would look like this:

There would be 57 Asians, 21 Europeans, 14 from the Americas (North and South) and 8 Africans.
51 would be female; 49 would be male.
70 would be non-white; 30 white.
70 would be non-Christian; 30 Christian.
50% of the entire world's wealth would be in the hands of only 6 people and all 6 would be citizens of the United States.
80 would live in substandard housing.
70 would be unable to read.
50 would suffer from malnutrition.
1 would be near death; 1 would be near birth.
Only 1 would have a college education.
No one would own a computer.

To reduce unexpected and costly offspring the following program will be enstated for human protection.

Effective on (date), all human offspring will be sterilized, both sexes. This is a reversible procedure and will be 100% covered by tax dollars.

When a mating pair has met the minimal requirements in the areas of housing, financial capabilities as defined in section (-), and (parental) training guidelines as outlined in section (-), they will be allowed to have the sterilization process reversed in order to have up to a limit of two (2) offspring. If complications arise with conception and or delivery of the first offspring procedures are to be followed per section (-). Once the limit of two (2) offspring is reached, both parents will be sterlized a second time and this procedure will be permanent.

This stat is incorrect. That's saying the top 6% richest people all live in the USA. If you take a look at the top 25 richest people in the world (far less than 0.001% of people), there are more than USA citizens in the list.

The granularity is pretty large. One person has to represent ... what ... 60 million?

And then a pack of lions would come along and eat everyone. And leave humanity in neatly coiled piles on the plains.

Yeah, I realized my mistake a bit after posting but the post was made and I didn't go back to edit it out.
