Interesting, fedex wont let me pick up my package before any delivery attempt as been made...

I wanted to pick up my package today because the facility opens at 8:30am and i would rather drive over there myself then have it delivered at 3pm (when they usually show up here). When i spoke to the lady on the phone she informed me that they are required to make at least one attempt to deliver. Thats kinda gay if you ask me. Has this always been their policy?

It has. I had this issue about two years ago. I am sure it is a legal thing.
