Where does the engine lubrication come from? I assume they are 4-stroke? I had no idea they only turned 200 something revolutions in a run.

is the revolutions equal to RPM, if it is, it says the redline is 9500RPM. 9500/60 equals 158 RPS. at 4 1/2 seconds would be ~675 revolutions. Granted, they dont start off redlining, but I wouldn't think it takes that long to get up there.

I know. But it still blows my mind that they cover that much distance. Must be some insane gearing, but then you would have to with that much power. Wonder what the ratios are? I thought they only had two gears. Super Fast and Ludicrous Speed.

yeah, it'd be cool to watch one of those races. I don't think I'd have the balls to get behind of the wheel of one of those things. it's like strapping a missile on your back and hoping it goes straight.
