to be the type of guy that I would want to spend more than 5 minutes with but from This article this is what I have always expected about old Dick but that I know as fact:

Cheney:
1) Drives a Black SUV (HUMMER??!)
2) Is a pussy
3) Has MAJOR obsessive-compulsive tenancies
4) Does not respect Upper Management
5) Likes to kill other innocent animals other than Deer
6) Is a hypocrite of epic proportions
7) Has delusions of grandeur

Ah I don't recall posting any articles just commenting on them. I leave the posting of articles to Bloggers like Pjjaby who has a knack of flooding this forum with them.

I find it interesting that PJABBER takes two totally different positions in two similar threads while missing the point.

In his liberals are losing their sanity thread, he finds one liberal blogger who has certain opinions about dealing with Southern Republicans,
does not question the validity of the authors position, but somehow morphs that in compelling evidence that all democrats and liberals have now lost their minds because of the single blog written.

And now when KSheets posts a Washington Post article critical of basically Cheney, Cheney, and Cheney, PJABBER is all over Ksheets for his interpretation of the article.

And somehow missing in action from PJABBER in Washington Post article is that fact P&N side opinions are one thing, but the important things we all share is the original blog or newspaper article itself. And if the original blog or newspaper article has logical holes, its that original content that should be discussed, but PJABBER acts like both original documents are sacred and correct which is not anywhere in evidence. And my dominant impression of that Washington post article was that much of it could have been written to describe the behavior of someone like Jimmy Carter. The Obsessive reading, collecting books and document, a desire to gloss over failures and polish the positive, its all there.

I think you'll find his positions are completely, even irrationally consistent: RNC great, DNC terrible. (Though he'll wrap all sort of long-winded drivel around it, that's somehow the result, time after time.) As far as missing the point, that's what blind ideology is all about, missing the point when it's unfavorable to your party.

Look Im not defending either party, I think they are both equally corruptible.

I'm also doubtful about our governments ability to manage health care, but there's no doubt that SOMETHING has to change because the system as it is is broken.

Obama got my vote because of his genuine concern for taking on the major problems the US is facing. Can he fix everything? Is he some kind of political messiah? No. But I honestly believe that his intentions are good.

I grew up in the Regan 80's, to me Regan WAS the President and I remember it feeling very strange when the reigns were handed to Bush because Regan and his policies were really the only thing I could remember throughout my childhood.

Cheney just seems, corrupted, to me. It's just my personal opinion and from the slant of that article it seemed to confirm this.

IMO, the only things the OP got right is #1 (and who cares if it's a Hummer or not? Ain't like he's parading around like Al Gore csreaming about CO2), and #6 possibly hypocritical for releasing his memoirs while condemned others for doing so. I say 'possibly' because it depends upon what he writes. Let's face it, VP's like Presidents need to write their memoirs.

Oh, #5 is right. But who but PETA type boobs cares if he fishes and hunts birds (and sometimes lawyers)?

Hmmmm,
Seems to me that aside from the Black SUV the rest of 2 -7 are inferences drawn from observation that are not reasonably drawn.
To start with, he seems to have occupied Upper Management positions for the last forty years.
His agenda has always been one that tended to put others in harms way but no more so than any other non isolationist advocate. So, when that shoe fits anyone or everyone stead in similar fashion it is not a pejorative as OP seems to want to state.
I don't find him to be a hypocrite but, rather, one who's agenda is obvious and his obfuscation regarding some aspect or another is not really hypocritical IMO. He simply skirts the truth in a highly effective manner.
Everyone has OCD to some extent but like anyone who is CEO or a leader you have to to be like a dog with a bone most of the time.. Focused on the objective.
None of his 'At Work' behavior fits the 'Pussy' notation, however, I'm sure he'd be like any other Dad or Grand Dad at home... especially with his daughter who, no doubt, feels her Dad is the bees knees...

I don't like his policies. I do, however, applaud his effectiveness.
