So basically you subscribe to the Al Gore definition of E pluribus unum and I the actual meaning. You fill it out your way, I will fill it out mine. There is nothing false about writing American as that is exactly what I am.

This goes to show how our government has been corrupted by our entitlement mentality. What was designed as a mechanism to fairly distribute representation in government has now become a mechanism to justify redistribution schemes, often racially based.
