Err, MSRP on 6800s is $300, not $400.

Oops I see you were talking about GTs, but GTS aren't comparable to 4200s. (they're comparable to 4400s) (I don't consider the Extreme a big part of the product line, 6800>GT>Ultra is what most people will have an opportunity to buy. If I'm wrong on this, someone point it out please)

When you consider MSRP on the GF4s in 2001 was$200>$300>$400, and the GF6s in 2004 is $300>$400>$500, it seems about right.

(someone has to pay for all those burned up OCd RMAs) 😉

He said the 6800 GT was the 4200 of the future, not the 6800. His point stands.


Since I basically agreed with him if you would have read past the first line of my post, I don't really know why you posted this?
