Sony must appeal to professionals with a robust support network and system accessories with quality in breadth and depth.

when I read "robust support network" from Sony, all I can think of is proprietary format.

thing is that Sony already have a similar support setup & a good reputation for it for their pro video gear.

what is wrong with the K20D? it's better than the A700.

I'm a little disappointed in the K20D, was hoping for a bigger improvement in noise. At least given the early reviews found. But I still am tempted since I've been looking at old screwmount and k lenses... I might go to pentax so I can share it between film and digital more. But the noise and the vast canon used market is what holds me back.

it doesn't have as good AF, it doesn't do 5fps ....
Obviously not a concern for everyone but they were for me for my needs so the K10D/K20D didn't even make my shortlist.

i'd be much more interested in sony if they would make a digital hexar RF with that big sensor they've got coming out.
