Anything you define as INTENSE (with caps). My definition would be very heavy with emotion, but I don't want those super slow boring songs by composers with 18 consonants and 1 vowel in their last name. Looking to fill my library with a couple of good tracks that aren't rock-ish.

It can have vocals, I suppose. Looking for stuff that's very melodic (Canon in D Major) and/or INTENSE (Somnus from FFXIII).

Any suggestions?

Carl Orff - Carmina Burana (O Fortuna particularly)
Gustav Holst - The Planets (Mars is a good one but really the whole thing is great)

Good suggestion on the Planets. Jupiter is my favorite (mainly cuz I played it too 😛 )

Fire on High by ELO .Full song here complete with satanic backwards masking! ( The music is reversible, but time is not...turn back...turn back!)

IMO killer freaking song. Play it as loud as you can.

Peace
