Intel's Processor naming scheme (not all about the #'s either)

Ok I don't understand why intel didn't call it's prescott processors the Pentium 5. Even if the architecture isn't a huge overhaul, I think they should have because I see people with P4s 1.5GHZ and people think thats still fast because they still have P4 processors and the fact is it's not! Plus it would encourage people to buy faster processors therfore making them more money. And this processor numbering scheme also is just as stupid as them not bothering to go to the P5 name. UGH just fricken change it! Comments?
