I got an email from gigabyte.com.tw today stating that the i925XE will be on boards and at dealers mid November 2004. It seems Gigabyte maybe the first to the market with them.

This was good news for me and maybe other serious computer hobbyists. It's said to be the new BX.

The only link I have is web-email reply that is based on gigabytes site. I will send it to you in an pm. Also I notice a search on intel.com reveals more results than the one result we were all getting for weeks.

The i925XE is the same as the current i925x but has the support for 1066mhz fsb, which is the default anyone should expect from their system with plans of the current cpu's coming.

The important thing about this is Intel has either allowed the chip to surface for future support or there will be also news of new CPU's being released on time, not put off till 1stQ 2005.
