intellimouse optical. anyone know hot to take it apart?

trying to figure out how to open the damn bloodly thing. i'm gonna get a hacksaw unless someone knows how to do it. i'm trying to fix it becuz the cord seems to be lose and it doesn't work unless i turn the cord to a angle so... anyone can help please show me how thanks

try using a screw driver :p
i don't have an intellimouse, but many mice have screws located underneath the mouse feet. so you may have to peel those off to expose them

If you remove the four grey pads on the bottom of the mouse, you'll be able to access the screws that hold the mouse together.

I Have an explorer optical and the dam mice kept pn freezing apparently there were heaps of postsdone a while back and it looks like a cable problem I puled my mouse apart a low and behold a broken cable after a bit of solder all better but now the cable breaks about every couple of months to week crap.
