intel X25-E and TRIM

Hi,

I have an Intel X25-E SSD with 8860 firmward as stated on the label, however I can't seem to use Intel's SSD Toolbox to clean up the drive. It works on my X25-M G2 but not in the X25-E. Is my X25-E 1st gen despite having the 8860 firmware? How do I check?

Also, what's the latest firmware for the X25-E?

the E series is SLC based and doesn't need TRIM. i spent hours trying to figure it out with my *old* 64GB E series and everything i found told me the E series doesn't support or need it.
