Finally, Intel will partner with NV to build mega APU to compete with AMD's Halo and NV's ARM APU. Yes, NV most likely only providing iGPU tile similar to GB10, let Mediatek or Intel designing their own CPU+SoC....

It is too early to speculate, but GB10 should show us what to expect with LPDDR6, next generation memory interface.

GB10: S-Die refers to SoC die; G-Die refers to GPU die

I am renaming this thread to include discussion of upcoming Razor, Titan and Serpent Lakes. These 3 lakes are somehow related based on video from RGT. I know his record sucks, but I will add my remarks to complement his leaks. And this is Intel we are talking about; hence all the leaks and rumors are subjected to change:

1. Razor Lake: Q4-2027?
  • The successor of NVL, similar topology. Max 16P+32E cores with 2 CPU Tiles.
  • 8 x Griffin P-core and 16 x Golden Eagle E-core per Tile with 4 LPe-core in SoC Tile; Double-digit IPC
  • Intel will try to fab it inhouse, but I doubt they could make the high end version, so 18A-P / N2P / A16?

2. Titan Lake: 2028?
  • Mobile Only. Titan Lake seems complement PTL (Q1-2026) and Mobile Nova Lake (Q1-2027).
  • The direct competitor of Titan Lake is Medusa Premium (2027)
  • CPU + SoC should be fabbed by 18A-P: 4+8? Griffin+Golden Eagle
  • GPU should be fabbed by N3P: Xe3P Celestial IP
  • 24 Xe cores seems solid? especially compared to Medusa Premium's 24 CU RDNA5
  • Memory should support 192-bit LPDDR6
  • at least 80 TOPS NPU

3. Serpent Lake: 2028?
  • CPU: Single 8+16 Tile; same as Razor Lake. SoC should support 384-bit LPDDR6, hence new die
  • The direct competitor of AX/Serpent is Medusa Halo (2027)
  • RZL-AX should be version with 48 Xe3P cores (N3P)
  • Serpent Lake should refer to NV's Rubin Graphic Tile (N3P) with at least 48 SM
  • Serpent as the name implies has duality in terms of GPU tile. I am not sure Intel will proceed with both or choose Rubin only
Feel free to express your speculation. ;)

Where is unified core and Xe4? You think Xe4 iGPU isn't ready for Titan Lake and unified core either? It is hard to believe they are reusing the same CPU cores from Razor Lake. Also 80 TOPS only for Titan Lake? Intel is close to 80 TOPS already with Nova Lake and you think they can barely increase it with Razor Lake and Titan Lake?

You'll also want to add Hammer Lake to the list. My impression on the increased product families is that Intel is following AMD's nomenclature and splitting desktop and mobile products to some extent... even if there's no real difference in the design.

Unified is 2029 and Xe4 is H2 27 with Jaguar and 80TOPS is good enough imo I don't want wasted die when the iGPU will have triple or maybe Quadruple tops considering Xe3P has doubled the per XMX throughput

Serpent Lake is kinda N1X/GB10's x86 successor. Nvidia likely wants to capitalize on Intel's OEM reach. Too far away from release though.

Unified is 2028-2029, it's not clear when exactly. For Titan Lake iGPU the plan was or is Xe4, if it isn't ready they have to use Xe3p. I guess it's a bit too early to know.

Yeah it will be end of 28 or start of 29 likely Titan is 2028 and they should have Xe4 IP ready by than

From what I’m aware of Titan is the first unified core version and late 2028 “release”. Then Hammer is a further refinement.
