Anyone that has this mobile cpu can you post your windows vista or preferably windows 7 cpu score for this? I'm trying to isolate something and it may be this as it is giving only a 2.4(windows index score) for me.

On the laptop the speed step is turned off, latest bios update, set to high performance under the power management in windows 7

I have and it is running as spec'ed 2.5ghz at 800fsb... But I just cant remember what the windows index score should be. It just seems low. as a comparison my p8400 runs (2.26 1066fsb) gives me a 5.4(windows index score)

did not think the 2.5 / 800fsb would be that low. just wanted to know other peoples unit

Good OCes guys but please remeber a notebook gets twice as hot and suffering brakes.

You need a laptop with a docking cooling station sorta like your xbox cooler.

Nice laptop OC. Have you tried tests like 1 hour of prime or everest ,,

good luck,

sorry should have mentioned that it is the Windows Experience index score not an overclock speed of 5.4(windows index score)

fixed my other posts to reflect that it would be a windows index score

shouldn't be that low at all, your score should be around the mid 5's. 2.4 is like a 5yr old pentium 4 chip...

close all programs, make sure your cpu usage is 0 then rerun the program.

GTFO please.

OP: I have a T9300 and it nets me a score of 5.4. Dunno why your's isn't higher. It could be that when you ran the check your computer for some reason failed to turn your laptop's clocks back to normal. As long as performance isn't affected in other applications I don't think it matters.
