Intel SRT with Windows XP?

Curious if you could use ssd caching on an XP machine. It looks like garbage collection doesn't happen on these drives at all (?) so lack of TRIM wouldn't matter.

Second, would you have to re-install the OS or can you just add the SSD and turn on SRT?
 
Hmm. Ok, but Vista is supported and I happen to have a copy laying around somewhere.

It should because you're using/freeing up blocks and the SSD needs to know which are still in use so it can do it's gc, wear leveling, etc.
