Hehe, I suspect though that AMDs realworld performance increased at about the same rate, despite the drop in mhz.

I'm more excited about the cooler running 2.4 Ghz Opteron which runs cool at 45 watts !!!!!

I'd take a 3 Ghz Opteron/Athlon 64 FX over a 4 ghz Intel ......
