Can not seem find any info on this. From past experience seemed May was one of two big times of year for price drops? Looking at builting new pc and this very likely be last one I can pull rabbit out of hat with so to speak on money issue, so looking for best I can get out of it. Any info and significant reasons to wait apprecatied. Many used for online rpgs like EQ. Especailly like to get MB that is future proof enough do double cpu next year with it. That really be nice.

Next price drop is in April...most notable drop...P4 2.0A will drop to the point where it can be had for about $240 online.

After that, next price drop is May 28. This is the big one. The P4 2.2A will drop to the point where it can be had for about $220 online. The 2.0A should be under $180 online. The P4 2.4A will debut at this time for an outrageous ~$500.

In late July, the price of the 2.4A drops down to $220 online and the 2.5A and 2.53A will debut at ~$500. Bu this time, the 2.2A should run about $180 and the 2.0A about $140.

Any one know when Intel will introduce a USB 2.0-integrated chipset in PCs?
How can I tell the chipset has USB 2.0-integrated into it.
Anyone know which chipset?
thanks

new2pc: the Asus P4B266 (standard version) has USB 2.0 on it now and it has the i845D chipset on it too.

Mavrick007, thanks
I am planning to buy a Dell P4 (.13 micron) with USB2.0 integrated to the chipset.
Dell sales folks are of no help.
