I bought mine when they first came out at compusa on sale for $59 and they had a $30 rebate. I think the kids have used twice since then.

Kids have also only used it twice.

Pretty crappy resolution.

The optical quality is not very good even for a toy. Kids wont have fun looking at dark unfocused images.

FYI: It doesnt come with XP drivers.
You have to ORDER it (free) and wait 2 weeks.

I have one of these and they're great for checking solder connections (hear that, you multiplier-unlockers?) and reading the tiny print on components. For example, I needed to check some RAM to see if it was 50ns or 60ns and couldn't really make out the numbers. Popped it under the scope, and the "50ns" practically filled the screen!

Kind of a novelty, but comes in handy from time to time.
