Intel Price Cuts?

Intel ususually cuts its desktop Pentium prices at the end of January, April, July, and October. Give or take a couple weeks. Basically one price cut every 3 months (one per calander quarter). You've got ~8 more weeks to wait for another price cut.

It was reported that Intel will reduce prices the last week of December. Intel also plans to release a P4 3.2 in the first QTR of 2004.

Looks like they smoked that deadline. P4 3.2 has been out since June. Do you mean Prescott?

The next scheduled price reduction is Feb 15th but, like it says right on Intels' site "This information is subject to change without notice."

I think when Prescott and the 3.4GHz Northwood and EE processors come out, basically everything will move down a price bracket (ie: 3.0GHz will drop to the price of the 2.8GHz and so on). So you just have to wait until some new releases, I believe.
