INTeL Pocket PC camera $59.99 rebate included...

Not sure about the price, but this looks like something good for a child/kid for a camera and home vid....

Sam's Club was clearing these out @ $29.91 & $39.91 before rebate here's the thread.

However I do think you'll be hard pressed to actually find one @ Sam's now. 🙁

It's 59.95 - 40 = 19.95. Still better to find this camera at Sam's or another store for free after the usual $30 MIR. It's a nice simple camera which can double up as a webcam. Quality is actually quite good since it uses CCD technology.

What!? $60 AFTER their rebate? That's a ripoff if i ever saw one. Leave it to a huge company like intel to offer such a 'great' clearance deal.

You might want to edit the thread title.

Some read the title and think it starts at $59.99, and then a rebate is included after that. But then again don't mind me, i just woke up 🙂

<< I thought saying 'rebate included' was pretty clear! >>

What rimshaker is trying to say (i think) is that "after intant rebate" is less misleading. "rebate included" can be interpreted as "rebate included as link in thread" to those that just woke up. But its your thread so whatever.

Anyways...

The "rebate" they refer to is just a nice way to say "we're clearing out this product so we'll finally drop the price to what all the B&M's have been charging for the last few months". Check your local CC, BB, OD or OM for the camera and its $59 or so and then download the $30 rebate.

BTW: Microcenter has these for $49 this month but its refurbished. I dont know if a refurb will work with a rebate but if it does then $20 for this is well worth it. Decent camera for web photos or to let a kid use. Plus its a webcam for the computer. The only thing wrong with it is the horribly misleading name. Pocket PC... i wonder how many people go nuts when they see that thread title.
