The only machine I have I think this CPU would work with has it's original CPU soldered in. I'm going to assume it's similar for a lot of other notebooks based around this CPU.

Why would anyone assume a Mobile P3 would work on a P4 board? That's pretty silly.

FINALLLY, someone pointed out the obvious! Moreso, why would you want to use a P3 in a P4 board????

Would you believe that this unorthodox combination proves to be so fast that it beats even the Athlon 64 FX and the Pentium 4 Extreme Edition?!Summary:
With a simple adapter, Intel's Pentium M processor can be used on veteran mainboards based on the i865 and i875 chipsets.
And if I remember right, I thought there were mods that let you skip the adapter on some motherboards too... hmm
bad bearxor... bad...
The PIII-M processor is a PIII architecture used with Intel 815M and 830M mobile chipsets, NOT P4 architecture.Processor Compatibility Issues
The new Intel® Pentium® 4 processor uses a 478-pin package while the mobile Pentium III processor in the FC-PGA package uses a 478-pin package. While physically, you can insert a Pentium 4 processor into a mobile Pentium III processor-M laptop or a mobile Intel Celeron® processor notebook and you can insert a mobile Pentium III processor-M or a mobile Intel Celeron processor based on .13 micron process technology into a desktop Pentium 4 processor system, the two type of processors are not electrically compatible and it will damage the processors and/or the system if you do. In addition, this can void your warranty for your laptop and processor.

I have T21 too, why don't u try it and let me know. But seriously, T21 runs at 100 FSB and this runs at 133, so I don't think it will work.
