2MB of cache.. is that standard on the 3.2ghz? I haven't been keeping up with processors since my HT 2.8 ghz, but that sounds like a lot of cache to me.

Not standard, it's the Extreme Edition, meant for power users(p4 3.2ghz retail/oem has 512k cache)... It's really just a xeon, that'll work in p4 800fsb boards
