Intel P4 2.66B cpu overheating BEEPING problem

Hi there, I have an Intel p4 2.66b cpu, MSI 850E Max motherboard and I seem to have a problem with overheating. When i run the 3dmark 2003 program and do the CPU testing, it starts beeping after a couple of seconds, and the beeping gets louder and faster. Does anyone know why this is happening? A friend of mine has a 2.4 and this does not happen to his at all. He never gets any beeping. The fan is the retail fan that comes with the cpu. Please help, thanks in advance.

What are the temps on the cpu when its beeping?

When i'm not doing anything its 48, when we're running the 3dmark 2003 it goes crazy and as high as 60 and up.
