intel or amd

See, this is why i get annoyed when people here are accused of being AMD fanbois.

Most people here are performance fanbois 🙂

this is easy to answer !!!

Intel !!!

Intel have always had an edge in audio and video editing, encoding, authoring, etc and the dual-core continue that fine tradition. In fact the EE 840 is the speediest chip you could use for such work !!!

Actually, in all honesty the current line of P4's beat the current line of single core AMDs in this, but for dual core i dunno.

you two need to be banned.

i'm an intel user, i use xeon 3.06 dual for my adobe work.. but i never knew why intel is better ? what does adobe use that makes intel better ? anyone know ?

i never tried with amd option because back then, there wasn't any dual options..

amd fanboy markfw900 spreading FUD again !!!

x2 4200 can't touch P4 EE 840 in anything let alone everything ... who are you trying to fool you idiot ???

Really Dothan, stop being such a fanboy, the 4200+ has a much better price/performence than the p4EE, and it beats it in gaming and most tests, except heavy multi-tasking, and even that's by a small margin.
