I haven't been keeping up with the Intel side of things for a while (motherboard wise anyway) and need some help choosing one. I am going to be building a new computer based on a 1.8 Ghz Pentium 4 of the Northwood variety coupled with Matrox's new vid card ;) and hopefully some Rambus memory. What are your suggestions for that setup? Overclocking isn't a concern as I generally shy away from that. If you could give me some chipsets and perhaps a specific model (such as Asus, Abit, Gigabyte, MSI etc.) it would be helpful as well. Thank you for your time. I'm kinda stuck .

or Intel D850EMV2 as well

If overclocking is not an issue, Intel makes the best boards. If you want to stick to RDRAM, I like the Intel D850EMV2, RDR, USB 2.0..

I use DDR, and have the D845BG.

Intel will be implementing overclocking features soon, but not on currently shipping boards. THey will be calling it "Performace Tuning".. :D
