Can someone help me with the problem I am having right now?

I bought Intel D815EEA2 Motherboard and Celeron 900Mhz CPU for my new system. And... found out that the mobo doesn't support Celeron 900 until I update the BIOS. I cannot boot. I get blank screen.

My question is... is there anyway to update BIOS using my current Celeron 900 CPU? Without buying a CPU that my mobo supports without BIOS upgrade?

Am I really screwed??

:frown:

Can you borrow a Socket 370 processor from someone to do the flash?

Well I recently had a very similar experience.
2 weeks ago while attempting to install a SOYO SY-TISU MB with Celeron 1.2 GHz
Tualatin processor I also got nothing but a blank screen, no beeps, no nothing.
Discovered that the processor was not tight into the zif socket.
Before you start selling stuff, re-seat everything, processor, memory, vid card........

kinda screwed i would say , like was mentioned before you deffitely need a basic celeron 370 chip so you are able to boot up and update the bios.
