Intel server and workstation future plans

- Foster CPU: DP Q1'2001 launch frequency 1.7 GHz (workstation only), DP Q2'2001 launch frequency 2 GHz (workstation and server)
- Tualatin DP - Q3'2001
- Gallatin DP name changed to Prestonia
- 870 chipset for IA-32 (McKinley) won't work with Foster MP

As for sever chipsets - by the H2'2002 the are i870 and Plumas in the roadmap - and only third-party chipsets later

2000/2001 - Intel plans for mobile PCs

- i815EM chipset to replace mobile 440BX/ZX in Q4'2000
- Almador-M for mobile 0.13 micron 1+ GHz Tualatin and 866+ MHz low-voltage Coppermine-T - Q2'2001
- 900 MHz and 1 GHz mobile PIII with SpeedStep technology targeted for January 2001

Intel has updated its products roadmap.

CPUs:

- 1.7 GHz Pentium 4 - Q1'2001
- 2 GHz Pentium 4 - Q2'2001
- 1.26 GHz Tualatin - Q3'2001
- Celeron 850 MHz - Q2'2001, 850+ MHz - Q3'2001 (Celeron 766 MHz and Pentium III 1 GHz will become the low-end models by Q3'2001)
Chipsets:
- Almador chipset for Tualatin - Q2'2001 (will replace i815/E as a volume mainstream platform)
- Brookdale for Pentium 4 - Q3'2001
- Tehama-E with ICH3 added for incremental I/O features/performance - Q3'2001
- i810E2 (i810 with ICH2) to replace Timna - Q1'2001
