They basically load instantly instead of taking 5 to 15 seconds. May not seem like a lot but if your waiting to do something quick it adds up after so many restarts.
I’d be surprised if the difference wasn’t mostly from motherboard / BIOS. Also why are you restarting so much?
This. My 10 year old build used to take well above a minute to restart. I replaced my asus mobo (asus maximus IV extreme) with a gigabyte (Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H), and now it boots almost instantly (like 15 seconds) although it is an old build. Maybe you had fast start enabled where the PC never truly shut down?Replaced my AMD 4650G on Win10 with AMD 5700G on Win 11. Same PC, just swap CPU's and did a fresh Win 11 install. Went from 6s startup to desktop to more than 20s.🤬
