I have a i850 on my p4 1.5 and i want to upgrade the CPU. What is the max speed of a CPU i can put on this motherboard?
 
I believe it only supports P4 processors with the 533MHz fsb, so that would limit you to about a 2.8 I think... check on newegg.com
 
1.5GHz means Willamette core P4. Is your CPU socket 423 or socket 478?
If it's s478, the fastest 533FSB CPU is the 3.06GHz one.
If it's just s423, consider getting another mainboard or a slot423-478 converter.
