If I bought a processor at $180 last week, will Microcenter price match to the new price? My local MC doesn't have anymore 920s in stock if that makes any difference.
Cheers!

For those of you who purchased within the last 30 days:
Call your store. Select Option #1 (Sales) and tell them your Reference # at the top of your receipt. Give them your info and you'll receive your credit. Takes less than 3 minutes.
Note: this will only work over the phone if you paid with credit/debit (according to their CS). Good luck
Thanks. I did the call in thing today. (I am in RI and purchased at the Boston, Ma MC). Waited on hold for 5 min. Got a rep who refused. Flat out told me it could not be done. I asked to speak with a manager. Literally waited on hold for 20 min, no one ever picked up permanently. Called the corporate office and got it done in 5 min. Amazing how these monkeys are allowed to just flat out lie to people. I suppose they're doing what they're told and holding the company line, but come on...
hmmmm.
46.8 mi one way
93.6 mi / 10mpg (Dodge truck) = 9.36 gal
9.36 X $3.15 = $29.48 gas
9.75% tax = $16.57
$16.57 + $29.48 = $46.05
$169.95 + $46.05 = $216
Plus 2 hours min on highway
Not bad but no cigar
What a shame
i was just about to go buy one when i decided to look up ram prices.. WTF!!!
I bought 4GB of DDR2-800 ram for 30$-15$ rebate a year and a half ago... I remember seeing DDR3 @ 70$ for 3x2GB triple chanel kits a year ago... now the cheapest I can find is 150$ for a 3x2GB kit and 2x2GB is 100$.
So as good a deal as this is, the price of DDR3 makes it an unacceptable upgrade (even before I look into the cost of the mobo, shudder).
I guess I will be sticking with my q9400 a little longer![]()
