Why does the P4 cost so much and provide so little in terms of advantages over an athlon of 1/3 its cost. Hehe, i think they know that answer, people are suckers and will pay for anything.

Why don't you travel to the future, see the lecture, then come back, and you'll know what the guy talks about!

You'll be golden!

they did this thing last year...

i don't remember exactly what they talked about, but i remember at my comp sci class that he passed around a display of all current chip designs (slot 1, FCPGA, etc.) and a few people just started asking random questions (since the guys asked for it..."do you have any guestions about anything we do?")

Ask the first question. When we had a guy come to my digital logic, the first two questions got Celeron 300's.

Dammit LTK, that was my suggestion! Also ask just how many recalls the i820 and i840 chipsets have had. And why they use a group that uses Macs to produce Intel commercials. Make 'em sweat!

And just how the fsck does Intel code actually make the Internet faster outside of the marketing world?

Well, DON'T ask him questions about flux capacitors and using garbage for fuel.

I have a suggestion: ask him if they will work with Distributed.net to build a P4-optomized RC5-64 decode core, and a P4-optomized Optimal Golumb Ruler core. These are two of the distributed-computing projects done worldwide by participants of Distributed.net. Currently, the 1.5GHz P4 acheives a RC5-64 output that is beaten by a Celeron 566!. There is room for some improvement there, try presenting it in a positive way.
