Jensen would love to kill ARC. He probably hates that Intel got even this close to threatening his dominance in GPUs.
Intel never had the execution ability of Nvidia during their best days. Direct competition with Nvidia would have failed anyway.

This should be irrelevant if their claims are proven to be true.

If Nvidia offers a better product with better margins, then the competition should still be able to offer competing products at a lower price. And Nvidia is known for engaging in practices that attempt to stop this dynamic.
Remember AMD? was superior to Intel, but yet Intel has the advantage.
nVIDIA will suffer the same fate.

Is about margins.

The only way is that nVIDIA with Mediatek takes over first the low tier market and then the mid tier one.

PS: Intel deserves their own forum. Is already relevant. And in this pace Qualcomm might get a spot too.

Lol why do you think they are betting big on fabs if they succeed at comparable PPA to TSMC every compititor is going to have an issue cause they can drive low end margin products out of market

Damn, Intel pulled BIG this time. And I feel that the nVIDIA GTX XX50 tier for laptop is about to not to be useful anymore. Intel and AMD caugh up with it.

Maybe everyone just needs to wait for JHH to retire and an MBA to take the helm at Nvidia.
Ha, that's assuming JHH's master plan of uploading his consciousness to Nvidia's in-house supercomputer cluster so that he can run Nvidia in perpetuity doesn't come to fruition sooner.

You showed DX11 results. Not apples to apples. DX11 gives different score results.

Fair enough, though I don't think it's going to give that much of a different score. However, the main point was the range of scores. Even if I use DX12, it's the same thing. The top Z1 Extreme score is 2x the score you showed. What am I supposed to make of these comparisons when there is a +- 50% spread in the results?

The 7000 score is clearly with external gpu as laptop 4060 score around 8k and laptop 4070 around ~10k

So, Intel GPU are now pretty competent? Heck, just make a sub forum since I want to know which laptops uses Intel dGPU.

Only the upcoming battlemage architecture and forward they were good for some productivity scenarios like davinci and stuff

What is the consensus for Battlemage performance for their top GPU? Are we talking 4070 performance with 16GB of vram?
