Well this is great news for us Linux users. So when I need a new video card or build a new system, I will have to choose AMD or Intel due to both releasing Open Source drivers.

Do you have much experience with the existing Intel open source drivers for Linux? How well do they compare versus the Win10 Intel drivers? (on Intel iGPUs)

Well I'm currently using a Nivdia 1070 card while my dad is using the Intel iGPU. My dad has yet to complain about video performance or any issues in Linux.

Neither one of us uses Windows 10.
