Most of those complaints were about backorder items that were shown as such when the order was placed. The ETA's are exactly that: Estimates. Their website actually says "earliest ETA" I have ordered many times recently from Sparco and have received the same quick service as always. Sparco as many other companies do not ship from their own stock but issue a ship order to various warehouses. I find the live inventory accurate. Reseller ratings, positive or negitave, are always somewhat suspect. Just look at the reviews on the egg, many reviewers even state that they don't even have the product!

Oh! You mean like the guy who Sparco shipped the wrong item to and they would only issue a store credit and made him pay the return shipping which was more than the item cost? That's understandable

I don't "suspect" the reviews at Resellerratings at all. In fact I participate in those as well as the ones at Amazon.com. I don't know about Newegg having VENDOR REVIEWS of ITSELF by it's customers, but I read the Newegg PRODUCT USER REVIEWS all the time (every day in fact) and I haven't seen anyone....... "state that they don't even have the product".... let alone "many reviewers" as you suggested, stating something as outrageous as that.

And if you find Resellerratings and Newegg "suspect" please tell us where to go for more trustworthy VENDOR REVIEWS and PRODUCT USER reviews. I'll go there immediately. ;)

Here are 3 reviews from NE "stating that they don't have the Evga 680i MB they are reviewing"

xcapepr
Tech Level: somewhat high
Ownership: 1 month to 1 year 3/12/2007 3:55:50 PM It looks the same because its the same

Pros: Want it

Cons: Dont have it yet

Other Thoughts: To the previous reviewer, it looks similar because it is similar. It's what they call a reference board (reference design). Do a Google search about it!

Cpu Idiot.
Tech Level: low
Ownership: less than 1 day 3/10/2007 5:48:37 AM

Pros: sure

Cons: sure

Other Thoughts: I'm new to building cpu's and I was thinking of getting this motherboard to build one,but the memory standard is ddr2 1200 and I can't even find memory that high so what will work on this motherboard.

RE: cloudkiller

Pros: .

Cons: .

Other Thoughts: hey cloudkiller... i just ordered the AR last week... has not arrived... when you say you can swap the AR for the A1... do you mean swap through newegg or swap through evga?

Can you read them? This sample was from the first product I just checked. Perhaps your reading comprehension is outragous.

Cardio, craftech, *please* don't turn this therad into discussion of quality of the reviews at various sites. Let's get back to the original subject of when can we get all these new and inexpensive Intel CPUs. Peace.

Cardio, clearly anyone can read reviews and determine if they're legit or not. The thing is there are a LOT of legit reviews that show how poor the average quality is on many of the current generation motherboards.
Yet when it comes to NewEgg user reviews, unlike most boards, the MSI 650i board seems to have fared very well EVEN DESPITE what you are saying which just further proves my point that it must be a decent board since EVEN THOUGH there are so many crappy reviews on newegg for most products, that board doesn't seem to have any legit bad reviews let alone crappy ones.
That would give me even MORE confidence in that product than the Asus boards that are arriving DOA or flakey.

Believe it or not, Ingram Micro has now moved all of their warehouse ETA's for the E6420 to within days of each other. That's about a three week advance for two of them (Dallas and Memphis had most recently been at May 7):

latest ETAs:
California, Southern: 04-09-2007
Texas: 04-11-2007
Tennessee: 04-11-2007
Illinois: 04-11-2007
Pennsylvania: 04-09-2007

Of course he was originally responding to a Reselleratings evaluation of a vendor (Sparco)that I posted with some sort of mind boggling parallel between that and Newegg customer's product reviews that supposedly proved that both Reselleratings and Newegg customer reviews were equally not to be trusted.

?????

How is that a review that would negate the validity of the overall reviews of the board at the Newgg site let alone make a case against the VENDOR evaluations at Reselleratings?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductRe...d=0&SummaryType=ALL&Pagesize=50&Page=2

And the other one:

Pros: Want it

Cons: Dont have it yet

That REALLY makes your case about Resellerratings and Newegg.

But my favorite is:

Pros: -

Cons: -

Boy is THAT misleading. It's enough to invalidate all the other reviews of the board.

I'll never trust Reselleratings - err I mean Newegg - err I mean Reselleratings ever again.

And you never answered this question either:

"And if you find Resellerratings and Newegg "suspect" please tell us where to go for more trustworthy VENDOR REVIEWS and PRODUCT USER reviews. I'll go there immediately. "

LMAO; cyburzaki is obviously a supervisor somewhere. I'm thinking either in an office or manufacturing environment. Either that or somewhere that employs 18-20 year old males.
