Fry's Bay Area is advertising a Shuttle XPC SD30G2B and an Intel E2180 Pentium Dual Processor for $268.99 minus a $100 rebate=$168.99 after rebate.
Barebones is case, pwr supply and motherboard. You need to add hard drive, memory and optical drive. VGA: Intel GMA 950 256bit 3D engine with a powerful 400MHz core and DirectX 9
Directron is selling the barebones without the cpu for $187 on sale.
Must resist.......do not need more computers. Repeat after me, must resist...

Really? I'm thinking 4 is just what I need. Web server + NAS RAID + every day computer. All I need is a media centre.

I was thinking I'd use my current PC as a media centre and buy me a quad core finally but this is so tempting.

Hmm... I also have a laptop. Maybe I could start combining functions.

The NSK1300 for $40AR is a good deal, too. The only deals we east coasters ever get are hard drives from Outpost.com.

I agree. I have an Antec Aria (pretty much the same) that is going strong for 3 years now. Cool little case.

Just picked this up in San Diego. Sweet deal, but the SPDIF output isn't standard (requires another cable). Any suggestions on where to get the add-on kit cheap?
