My Gigabyte P35-DS4 burnt, because of OEM assembled the comp very badly, long story. So i got myself DP35DP from intel. Everything is fine, even my 8800GTS temps are much lower with this board, which i dont understand completely, but fine :)
The problem is with the BIOS. During the post there is the intel logo shown, but i cant bypass it to actually see BIOS code. On Intel website it says that it can be bypassed by "esc", but this is not the case. BIOS has some other flaws that can really use some polishment on this one, but as long as it works, its just a cosmetic. But the fact i cant see BIOS code is making me nervous :) i updated to the latest 249 ver.

Anyone has this mobo?

BTW, intel also has unbelievably good support. I contacted them becuase of the "double boot issue" many ppl are having with p965 a p35 based mobos, they replied second day, it really surprised me :) But im not gonna bother them again, till someone else does'nt have a clue on this. Thx.

My specs:
Intel DP35DP mobo
Core2quad Q6600 @ 2,4Ghz
2 x 2048MB DDR2 @ 667Mhz (Kingmax)
POV 8800GTS 640MB 320bit
Forton Epsilon PSU - 700W
200GB Seagate HDD - sata 150MB/s
320GB Seagate HDD - sata 300MB/s
LG DVD-ROM - pata
LG DVD-RW - sata

everything at stock speeds and will never be overclocked

what is exactly your problem? You go to BIOS with F2 key, that is what is says during the boot. There's no BIOS output beside the image. Also, I believe F10 lets you choose booting device.

And get the latest BIOS, just released few days ago.

thx for reply. Well, at intel site, it states that the "esc" key also applies to DP35DP. But there is many products listed there, so it may be just their fault. This is probably the first mobo i have, which behaves like that. That's why i was concerned, but it's probably normal. Thx anyway postmortem, i'll try the latest BIOS tomorrow, it can't hurt :)
