Intel develops self contained water cooling system for overclocking!

Wow.... pretty sweet. Change of tune from Intel, thought they super locked everything and were totally against overclocking.

That's awesome, that just show you that when a company with money like intel invests in something it really shines compared to all the rest water cooling kits you have today.

"The integration of the cold plate improves thermal performance". Sounds like TEC to me. Not so astounding if thats the case.

It looks very interesting and I'd love to see this come to market, but it does seem to smack a bit of desparation. Plus, 62C operation temperature? Was that idle, load or full load? It could very well be throttling at 5 GHz.

With Conroe around the corner, this looks like a bit of a novelty for an overpriced and soon to be defunct EE chip.
